Our Attorney
Mr. Brahms graduated from Harvard University in 1959 and from Harvard Law School in 1962. Following the completion of his Basic Officer training and military law training, he served as a military lawyer in the Second Marine Division from 1963 to 1965. He was promoted to Major in 1969 and assigned to the 1st Marine Aircraft Wing in Da Nang, Vietnam.
From 1976 to 1977, Mr. Brahms studied criminology at the National Law Center at George Washington University. In 1985, he was promoted to Brigadier General and served as a Director in the Judge Advocate General Division until his retirement in 1988.
Today, Mr. Brahms runs his own practice in Carlsbad, California, and is regularly called upon to comment on military justice and related matters in print and on the air. He is highly respected by his peers in the legal community for his vast knowledge and in-depth legal experience.
